8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Clerk’s Office.
Candidate Qualifying Fees & Criteria
The qualifying fee is 3% of the previous year’s annual salary of the
office/position you are seeking.
The annual Mayor’s
salary is $ 21,801.60
and the qualifying fee is $654.05
The annual council’s
salary is $18,912.00
and the qualifying fee is $567.36
Citizens seeking public office must go to College Park City Hall, located at 3667 Main Street, and apply in person at the City Clerk’s Office where they will receive an official qualifying information packet.
You must be a registered voter at an address in the ward for which you qualify.
Polling Hours
Polling locations will be open to registered voters from 7:00 a.m. EST
in the morning until 7:00 p.m. EST at night on Election Day.

Clayton County 770 477-3331 College Park citizens residing in Clayton County do not register with the City of College Park. Please call the Clayton County Voter Registration Office to find where to register to vote for City of College Park elections.
Absentee Voting
If registered voters plan to be out of the City and cannot vote at their designated polling location on the day of the election, they may come to College Park City Hall City Clerk’s Office and fill out an Absentee Ballot prior to election day. Ballots cast after Election Day will not be counted.
Voting by Mail
Registered voters may file an application form by mail requesting an Absentee Ballot. Absentee Ballots are available in the City Clerk's office. Application forms are available not more than 180 days prior to election. Call the City Clerk’s Office at 404 669-3754 or FAX a request to 404 669-3799 for an application form. Absentee Ballot applications must be filled out and mailed back to College Park City Hall, Election Division, P. O. Box 87137, College Park, GA 30337, to arrive on or before November 5, 2007.
