Planning/Zoning
Department:
(Bill Johnston, City Planner): (404) 684-6588
Economic Development Department:
(Rebecca Ferguson, Director): (404) 767-1537
The City of College Park Development Department offices are located in
the City Hall Complex at 3667 Main Street.
The
City of College Park has adopted a Comprehensive Plan to guide the use
and development of property. The Plan contains a Future Land Use Map
that indicates the expected uses to occur in various portions of the
city. These uses may be residential, commercial or industrial uses.
While the Future Land Use Map represents a general guide to land use,
the Official Zoning Map is a record of the zoning classification assigned
to every property in the city. A Zoning Ordinance complements the Zoning
Map and identifies regulations applicable to each property. Each of
these documents is available at City Hall.
Administration and enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance is the responsibility
of the Building Inspections Department, the Board of Appeals, the Planning
Commission and the Mayor and City Council.
